Data from the National Oilseed Producers Association (NOPA) showed U.S. soybean crushing in April hit a seven-month low of 166.034 million bushels, down by a sharp 5.46% from 196.406 million bushels recorded in March and down 4.14% from 173.232 million bushels seen in April of last year.

Meanwhile, soybean oil stocks fell unexpectedly to 1.750 billion lbs at the end of April or down 5.46% from March after rising for five successive months, according to NOPA data

NOPA members handle about 95% of all soybeans processed in the United States.
