China’s palm olein imports in April rose by 91% compared to a year earlier to 224,058 tons, data from the country’s General Administration of Customs (GACC) showed.

The year-on-year increase comes as buying improved following lower prices and amid an anticipated improvement in consumption following the opening of borders and relaxation of Covid restrictions.
