Malaysia’s October end-month stocks are widely expected to rise to just over 40 months high by an average of 2.503 million tons or 8.10% higher than the previous month mainly due to elevated beginning stock which was already sitting at 35 months high of 2.315 million tons. If the stock rise of 8.10% materializes, this would mark 15th successive month of year-on-year surplus bar May when stocks moved into a 3% deficit.
