Indonesia has set the CPO reference price for the period September 1-15 September shipment to US$820.35/ton. This is lower than the reference price for August 16-31 which was at US$820.35/ton, but effectively keeps the payable ex-port duty and levy for CPO unchanged from the previous level at US$33/mt and US$85/mt respectively.

Export taxes for other palm products such as RBD palm olein and palm oil were also unchanged at US$67 and US$68.

Malaysia had earlier raised its CPO reference price for September to RM 3755.13/ton (US$810) from RM 3614.28/ton previously, with the resulting payable export duty raised to RM 300.41/ton (US$64.83) from August’s RM289.14/ton.
