Indonesia’s exports of Used Cooking Oil (UCO) in May rose by 52.8% from the previous month to 27,264 tons – the highest in seven months or since October 2022, data from Indonesia’s statistics agency Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) showed.

The level compares to a year ago when zero volumes were exported, with Indonesia at the peak of its three-week export ban which took place between late April-May last year.
